Orly Ancient Jade

Orly Ancient JadeI can feel it. Spring is coming! Slowly, yes. But it’s coming! I spotted Orly’s Spring 2011 Precious Collection at Ulta the other day and honestly, nothing really WOWed me. I decided to pick up Ancient Jade because it looked really similar to one of my favorite polishes, Essie Turquoise & Caicos, that doesn’t have the best formula.

Ancient Jade is a gorgeous light green creme. It’s not anything amazingly special, except the formula is AMAZING! The color is super opaque and not at all streaky. Two coats cover perfectly.

Essie Turquoise & Caicos is a bit brighter, Avon Jade has a bit more green and L’Oreal Waters Edge has more blue, but they are all very close. So unless, like me, you are looking for a light green with an awesome formula, you can probably skip this one if you have any of the polishes previously mentioned.

Oh, and did I mention this looks AMAZING under OPI Black Shatter?

Probably my favorite combination with Black Shatter so far 🙂
