I was wandering around Rite Aid the other day and came across a nail polish brand I had never seen or heard of; oke.doke. It was immediately obvious to me that the brand looked similar to tokidoki at Sephora. But that line doesn’t have nail polish, so who knows. Steal This Teal immediately caught my eye, so I decided to give it a go.
Steal This Teal isn’t really teal. Or if it is, it is a very blue leaning teal. The base color reminds me a bit of butter LONDON Victoriana. The reason I was attracted to this polish wasn’t so much the base color, but the really pretty light blue microglitter.
Application wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either. I used four coats (I had some bare spots after three, though if I wasn’t going to take pictures of my nails I would have stopped there). The bottle has a removable cap and the brush is pretty standard (pictures below the jump).
This polish retails for $1.99. Not bad, but it is only .33 oz. Final conclusion: no reason to run out to grab any of these polishes, but they are a fun cheap fix 🙂
