OPI Perfectly Red

OPI Perfectly RedI just love a good red mani! I was in Beauty Brands over the weekend and spotted this color. They generally have an OPI exclusive for each season and Perfectly Red is their exclusive to go along with the Fall 2010 Swiss collection. I’ve had great luck with some of their previous exclusives (Orchid Me Not!, Pomegranate Me a Wish). Beauty Brand exclusives are also less expensive ($5.98) than regular OPI colors so it’s a great way to get a quality polish for a bit less.

Perfectly Red is a tomato red creme. I really like it because it’s not your usually blood red. This particular shade of red looks great against my pale skin. I know this is supposed to be a Fall exclusive, but I actually think this is a really great red for Spring and Summer. It’s not as stark as some of the blood red polishes like Essie Fishnet Stockings (my go to Fall/Winter red creme).

Application was amazing! It was almost opaque in one coat, but the formula isn’t thick. I only used two coats.

I really can’t say enough good things about this polish, I really love it and I’m not generally a red fan. Even the boy said he liked it! Any polish with a double seal of approval is a keeper.

  1. So how do you get this color if you dont have the store near you. I LOVE this color, I think it is the perfect red!

    1. Beauty Brands does have a website but they for some reason don’t sell OPI online. The best advice I can offer you is eBay or see if it’s up for swap on MUA. They always have a ton of bottles of their exclusives and they eventually go on clearance. So it may be awhile before they start showing up online.

It’s a gorgeous color! If you manage to get your hands on it, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

What do you think?
