Believe it or not this is my first ever nail polish purchase from a dollar store. I know! I can’t believe it either. The only dollar store near me is a Dollar Tree. I’ve been in there several times to look for nail polish, but they never seemed to have much. But when I went last week I must have just been there at a good time. They didn’t have alot of options, but I spotted this polish and decided to give it a try.
I had heard good things about the L.A. Colors brand, but had never been able to find it in stores around here. The Dollar Tree had several colors, but this one caught my eye. Static Electricity is a dusty blue creme. The application was great. I used three coats, but I could have gotten away with just two.
When I picked this up at the store I thought it might be similar to OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui. I was right. It is similar, but it is certainly not a dupe.
Comparisons below the jump!
I’m definitely not sad I own both, but unless you are a dusty blue fan one or the other would probably be good enough.
Initially I thought Static Electricity may also be similar to Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue. I was wrong, they are not even close.
