China Glaze Towel Boy Toy

China Glaze Towel Boy ToyI wasn’t all that excited about China Glaze’s Summer 2010 Poolside collection. I’m not a huge fan of neons (I’m far too pale to pull most of them off) but I couldn’t resist a bright blue.

Towel Boy Toy is a bright blue with some subtle shimmer. The shimmer is much more apparent in the bottle (I have to look hard to see it ont he nail). This blue is very bright, but not so bright that I would necessarily call it a neon. It does dry matte, like a neon, though.

I have no complaints about the application. This was just a tad bit runny, but applied nicely in three coats. It does dry matte, so a shiny top coat is required.

The wear was great. I often have trouble with neons chipping quickly, but this wore for several days with limited tip wear.

I’m headed to LA for the weekend. Hope everyone has a great one!

  1. I demand a comparison with Essence colour&go – Pool Party. STAT.

Also, did you schedule a post for every day you’re in California? You’re amazing.

    1. I didn’t event think to do a comparison of those 2. I’ll do that when I get home.

And no! I actually took pictures of my nails while on vacation! lol

What do you think?
