Water Marbling with Essie Turquoise & Caicos

Something a little different for Saturday! This was my first attempt at water marbling. I used Essie Turquoise & Caicos as my base, and used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Pacific Blue and Caribbean Coral as my water marbling colors.

For my first time, I like the outcome. I definitely got better with every nail, and I was surprised how easy it was.

I’m pretty sure I”m addicted to doing this, so I will  probably do more of these posts in the future. Once I get a little more proficient, maybe I’ll even make an instructional “how to water marble” post.

Anyways, hope everyone enjoys their Saturday!

    1. Basically you use a cup of water, drop drops of nail polish in the water, swirl the nail polish with a toothpick, and dip your nail in the design.

    1. I generally fill the cup up about 80% or so, and use 2 to 3 drops of polish.

If you search for water marbling tutorials on YouTube, you can find some really helpful videos.

What do you think?
