Caribbean Coral is the last of my purchases from Sally Hansen’s new Spring colors, and probably my second favorite. My favorite by far is Pacific Blue, my least favorite being Going Green. I may eventually break down and purchase Virtual Violet, but I will definitely pass on Wet Cement, probably the most talked about from this collection.
Caribbean coral is bright. Not quite neon bright. But very bright. Sally Hansen claims (yet again) incorrectly that this polish is a creme. Granted, in most lights it does appear to be a creme. But in direct sunlight it is obvious that there is a bit of a frost or shimmer to this polish.
I did have a bit of trouble applying this color. The brush was fine, it was the formula I had a bit of a problem with. It was a little thick, yet required two coats. Lets just say I had a lot of cleanup to do when I finally got the polish even and opaque.
I do hope that Sally Hansen continues to release new colors from their Xtreme Wear line. The quality is as good, if not better than the Complete Salon Manicure line and is so much less expensive!
