Just when I thought I couldn’t love this polish any more, I have found a way! I picked up Sephora by OPI Too Good for Him just before the New Year when Sephora released it and loved it. I did a previous post on this polish when I used it on its own. While I did love it, used alone there are some bare spots.
I wanted to try layering it. I had been thinking of layering it over a black or silver polish, but just hadn’t gotten around to it. I was getting tired of my OPI Done Out in Deco manicure and figured why not give it a try. Surprisingly I loved the look this achieved. The lilac color filled the bare spots beautifully. It also makes the polish appear a bit more on the purple side, which in my opinion, is never a bad thing.
I did have a bit of a problem getting the glitter to apply evenly. I ended up using three coats. Three coats of Too Good for Him on top of two coats of Done Out in Deco made for a very thick manicure. I didn’t have any trouble with chipping, but when it came time to take it off, I could pull the polish off my nails in full sheets.
